Visit to Kolej Universiti Islam Perlis (KUIPs)

Al-Madinah International University(MEDIU) hosted an official visit to Kolej Universiti Islam Perlis (KUIPs) on Wednesday, 17 August 2016. The official delegation visit was headed by Honorable CEO, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi accompanied by Prof.Datuk Syed Omar Syed Mohamad Al-Saggaf; Council Member, Mr.Jamaluddin Hussain, Head of Public Relations in the presence of Honorable Mufti State of Perlis, Sahibus Samahah Prof. Madya Dato’ Arif Perkasa Dr. Mohd Asri Bin Zainul Abidin. The delegates was welcomed by KUIPs Rector, Mejar (K) Dr. Mohd Mizan Bin Mohammad Aslam and university’s officials.

The visit aims to discuss potential ways to develop relations between MEDIU and KUIPs, in regards to the MoU signing ceremony which was held earlier in MEDIU on 10 August 2016. The discussion between the two institution focuses on the positive steps to strengthen potential cooperation towards building development in the education field.

At the end of the visit, Honorable CEO wished KUIPs on their edifice progress and prosperity, and later followed by a tour to view the university’s facilities closely and a short visit to the Perlis Royal Museum to view the museum gallery exhibiting the royal family tree of Perlis.

Kolej Universiti Islam Perlis (KUIPs) (http://www.kuips.edu.my) was established under the administration of the Perlis Islamic Religion and Malay Customs Council (MAIPs) in the year of 2013. The establishment of KUIPs with its motto of Syumul, Dinamik and Taqwa is poised to deliver quality affordable education and is certainly capable of spurring Perlis into becoming a top-notched education hub.
