MEDIU’s Student Portal were given a new look on its second version through the use of smart phones (Android System) on Wednesday, 25 May 2016. The portal is designed to offer MEDIU’s students access to manage their relationship with the needs of the University’s. The launch of the second version of the application of the student portal for smartphones can be reach through Google Play Store “Student Portal MEDIU” with the aim to provide the highest levels of student services with a sophisticated style.
The second version is characterized by adding the automatic update feature and improved support on the Arabic and e-services models (E-forms) in the “My Services” section. The application contains a service geared for students of the university where the first version supports querying academic status and rates of services as well as the course schedule for students.
The portal is connected through Microsoft Dynamics AX; given the advantages to facilitate students as its primary users and the main gateway that provides all the information of academic services to support the students process of education and provides comprehensive academic environment. Among the highlights of the portal are enrolment status for the next semester, list of subjects to be taken, test/exam results, forums participation, matters relating to the payment of tuition fees, MEDIU’s news and so forth.
