Visit by the Executive Director, International Book Fair Kuala Lumpur

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) received a visit by the Executive Director of the International Book Fair in Kuala Lumpur, Dr. Anas Salman on Thursday,14 April 2016. The guest was welcomed by Honorable CEO, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi in his office with the objective to invite the university’s to participate in the International Book Fair exhibition schedule to be held from 29 April until 5 May 2016.

CEO expressed his pleasure over the visit and stressed that the university’s supported such activities and events held in promoting the reading culture. Meanwhile in the discussion, Dr. Anas Salman stated that the exhibition is sponsored by the Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Book Institute of Malaysia and is estimated to attract nearly two million visitors, thus a platform and opportunity for the university’s to exchange experiences and acquire books in various versions. The International Book Fair Exhibition in Kuala Lumpur (http://kualalumpurbookfair.my), is the largest book fair in Southeast Asia involving nearly 800 publishers.
