MEDIU’s Convocation Ceremony

Al-Madinah International University held its Convocation Ceremony at Shah Alam Convention Centre (SACC), Shah Alam on Saturday, 12 March 2016. The graduation ceremony was conferred by the His Serene Highness Prince Dr. Bandar bin Salman bin Muhammad AlSaud, University’s Chairman in the presence of university’s council members namely Honorable Dr. Abdul Bari Awwadh AlThobaiti; Imam and Speaker of The Prophet’s Mosque, Honorable  Dr. Yahya Ibrahim A. Al Yahya, Prof.Datuk Syed Mohammad Al-Saggaf and Honorable CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Tamimi.

The convocation ceremony witness many distinguished guests  among others are ambassadors, embassy representatives, private and government representatives, university officials whom witnessed the graduation of 200 students. Prof.Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi in his keynote address said that the number of graduates has now reached a total of 2011 students, where (31) graduates are in the Foundation level , (1272) Bachelor,  (635) Masters and (73) PhD graduates. MEDIU’s CEO  in his welcoming speech expressed his appreciation and gratefulness to all the individual contributors and charity organizations which have made and continue in providing the University’s with all the sources and facilities. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi explained that the university’s already achieved its great achievements and deserved to celebrate this joyous graduation ceremony for its undergraduate and postgraduate’s students.

Prince Dr. Bandar in his speech said the historic ceremony has witness a celebration on the milestone achievement in the knowledge arena,  with nearly 80 nationalities of students from all over the world and a total of 55 academics programs have been accredited by the Malaysian Qualification Agency. He express his gratitude and appreciation to the university’s management, faculty members and staff on this joyous occasion. MEDIU’s top management pray for the graduates to continue to progress in their future undertakings and to achieve the goals of this world and in the Hereafter.

At the end of the ceremony, Mr.Aliyu Ibrahim who is currently the Parliament Speaker of the State of Katsina, Nigeria spoke on behalf of the graduates, in which he expressed his joy at the achievements of the graduates in acquiring knowledge in MEDIU and carve the most beautiful memory in their lives on their success in the arena of learning. Mr.Aliyu expressed his tribute to the graduates and reminded them that the knowledeg and experience gained at the university should be routed to the correct medium to educate the public towards knowledgeable generation.
