Delegation visit from African Open University, Sudan

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) received a delegation visit from African Open University, Sudan on Monday, 28 December 2015. The delegation was headed by Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah Aldhyan, Chairman of African Open University and was accompanied by Dr Ahmed bin Al-Ghamdi and Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Majid Hamidi. The delegates was welcomed by MEDIU’s Honorable CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi and expressed his pleasure for the visit, which comes in the framework of cooperation between MEDIU and international university working in the service of society as this visit aims to see the march of the university and its achievements.

The honored guests expressed their gladness of visiting MEDIU to view closely on the modern technology in support to the e-learning process and to identify the potential collaboration on the university discipline of studies in disseminating knowledge throughout the globe. A presentation on the university’s educational administrative process, Campus Management System (CMS) overview and Advanced Learning i-Management (ALiM) system were presented to the delegates.

Shortly after the discussion, MEDIU has step forward in extending bridges of cooperation and moving ahead towards achieving its objective and vision, as well to be in connection with international university by signing a memorandum with the African Open University.

At the end of the visit, the delegates made an office tour to view the academic, administrative and information technology facilities closely. A token of appreciation were given to the honored delegates and expressed their privileged of visiting MEDIU in the guest book by saying “Praise be to Allah SWT for his grace to be able to visit this renowned university and briefed by the Honorable CEO himself on its achievements. Very pleased and happy to hear and see the development the university technically, and may Allah SWT bless what was done in the dissemination of knowledge in the education field.”
