Delegation visit from Iqraa Institution for Learning Arabic Language, Kuala Lumpur

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) received a delegation visit from Iqraa Institution for Learning Arabic Language in Saudi School, Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday, 10 December 2014. The delegation was led by the Executive Director; Mr.Saleh Saad Zouman and was welcomed by MEDIU’s Honorable CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi. Among other representatives were MEDIU’s Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs; Assoc.Prof Dr Hj. Wan Mat Hj Sulaiman, Dean of Faculty of Languages; Assoc. Prof.Dr Daud Abdul Quadir Elega and faculties representatives namely Asst. Prof. Dr. Elsayed Mohamed Salem, Asst. Prof. Dr. Flayyih Mudhhi Ahmed and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ashraff Hasan Mohammad. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi expressed his delight for the visit which comes within the framework of cooperation between the university and other institution. The visit aims to exchange views in the experience of teaching Arabic to non-native speakers as well as gaining experience in providing higher education services at the global level.

The honored guest expressed his gladness of visiting MEDIU and expressed his admiration on the level the University’s has reached in using the modern technology in support to the e-learning process. This was followed by a presentation on the University’s, its goals as well as the faculties and programs available. A detailed visual presentation on the university’s, its techniques and educational administrative process were also being presented to the honored by Mr. Assad Mohamed Moindze. Later, Assoc. Prof.Dr Daud Abdul Quadir Elega; Dean Faculty of Languages and Director, Centre of Languages presenting the objectives and the provision of educational curriculum in order to provide a cohesive needs to center on the development of language and foreign language education, and contributions to society in general in the spread of the Arabic language in the modern world.
