Visit by Tertiary Education Trust Fund(Tet Fund) Monitoring Team

Al-Madinah International University(MEDIU) received a delegation visit from the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (tetfund), Nigeria on Monday, 24 November 2014. The visit aims to closely monitor the level of their students, who are under their scholarships as well as to build relationship with the University.  The delegation was led by the Director, Mr.Aliyu Naiya along with their representatives, Victoria Ugbana, Mohammad Garba, Mishabu Asimolo and Abdurrazak Ahmed. The delegation was welcomed by MEDIU’s Dean of Admission and Registration; Asst. Prof. Dr Mohammed Abdulrazzaq Nasser, Dean of Student Affairs Department; Asst.Prof.Dr. Shaker Bany Melhem  and Mr.Ahmad Falattah; Public Relations Coordinator.

Tet Fund is a federal government agency under the Federal Government Agency under the Federal Ministry of Education, Abuja, Nigeria. It provides intervention funds for the improvement of teaching and learning infrastructures and resources, facilities and content. MEDIU is selected as among the reputable foreign institutions where the selected students pursue various higher degrees on sponsorship by the fund. Tet Fund as a policy will monitors all its sponsored scholars from time to time to ensure on the performance of the students as well as to interact with both the scholars and the University authority.
