MEDIU 61st Executive Management Council (EMC) Meeting

MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired its 61^st EMC meeting for 2014 on Friday, 7 November 2014. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO’s from all respective departments as well as executive management level. Various agenda were being addressed and discoursed in the meeting.

The EMC has agreed and approved on the matter as follow:

• To look into the exception in the EMC Minutes No.46 of 2011 on the financial contrast for publication in the journal of the university with the following controls to allowed the university affiliated for publishing in the MAJMA without financial compensation.
• To approve to assign student [BF598] as Assistant Secretary, MAJMA Journal for a duration of four months for exempted of tuition fees.
• To approve on promoting ‘Mr.Hamed Mohamad Ali’ as ‘Asst.Prof’ as he has been awarded with PhD in Fiqh Al-Sunnah.
• To appoint ‘Assoc.Prof.Dr.Sabri Bin Mohammed’ as external examiner for PhD in Qiraat for the Faculty of Islamic Sciences.
• To appoint ‘Asst.Prof.Dr.Yasser Mohamed’ as Deputy Dean, Faculty of Islamic Sciences.
