Visit by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Republic of Maldives

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) hosted an honored guest, Mr.Mohamed Qubab Aboobakuru; Deputy Minister of Islamic Affairs from the Republic of Maldives on Thursday, 11 September 2014. The honored guest was welcomed by MEDIU’s Honorable CEO’s; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi, Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs Division; Assoc.Prof.Dr Hj. Wan Mat Hj Sulaiman, Deputy CEO of Research and Development; Assoc. Prof. Dr. AB Rahim Ismail and Deputy CEO of Student Affairs Division; Assoc. Prof. Dr.Ismail Mat.

The honored guest expressed his gladness of visiting MEDIU and expressed his admiration on the level the University’s has reached in using the modern technology in support to the e-learning process. An outline of MEDIU’s outstanding achievements, University’s organization as well as its modern techniques used by the University in e-learning were briefed to the honored guest.

Mr.Mohamed Qubab Aboobakuru were particularly impressed by the level MEDIU’s has reached and expressed his admiration in the guestbook saying am truly honored of visiting Al-Madinah International University and it is a privileged to meet with MEDIU’s CEO. Am pleased by the University’s great efforts and courtesy to serve Islam and Muslims and hope all the efforts to be blessed and benefit the institution.” At the end of the visit, token of appreciation were presented to the honored guest by Prof.Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi.
