MEDIU’s 70th Executive Management Council (EMC) Meeting

MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired its 70^th EMC meeting for 2014 on Tuesday, 16 December 2014. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO’s from all respective departments as well as executive management level. Various agenda were being addressed and discoursed in the meeting.

The EMC has agreed and approved on the matter as follow:

• To approve on the recommendation on the number of students (73) assigned in the ‘outstanding program of Master’s and Bachelor’s’ based on the objective of the university through 2015 in in Web Matrix rating in a pivotal presence (Size 17%) and the effect ( Widespread 50%).
• To approve on therequired number ofstudentsreachedwith regard tothe mechanisms ofprogressinthe center ofpresence(Size17%): 1,200,000pagesrepresenting24% of thetotal size of thetarget. The assigned parties areresponsible for monitoring the students achievementby adoptingthe implementationmechanism duringthe period from January2015till December
• To approve on the recommendation on the required number of students with regard to the mechanisms of progress in the center of influence (50% prevalence) in the side (referring Domain) 36,500 an increase of 300% of the total number of referring Domain target (K 12). The assigned parties areresponsible for monitoring the students achievementby adoptingthe implementationmechanism duringthe period from January2015till December
• To approve on the recommendation on the number of students (20) assigned in the implementation of acquisition department plan to achieve the target set (26,400 books and research) for the digital library in 2015.
• To appoint ‘Islam Faisal Rahman Bourini’ as lecturer for the Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences and Deanship, University Development and Quality under the Research and Development Division.
