MEDIU 62nd Executive Management Council (EMC) Meeting

MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired its 62^nd EMC meeting for 2014 on Tuesday, 11 November 2014. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO’s from all respective departments as well as executive management level. Various agenda were being addressed and discoursed in the meeting.

The EMC has agreed and approved on the matter as follow:

• To appoint ‘Prof.Dato’ Dr.Haji Mohammad Haji Alias’ as external examiner for PhD in Economics and Master in Ecnomics program for the Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences.
• To appoint ‘Prof.Dr. Takiah Mohd Iskandar’ as external examiner for PhD in Accounting program for the Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences.
• To look into the MQA requirements needed for each program as follows:
  1. Assign an external examiner for each program.
  2. Assign an internal coordinator for each program.
  3. To form a committee by the respective Faculty to review the program every three years.
  4. To assign the Faculty to list down candidates for thesis requirements.
