6/2015 Executive Management Council(EMC) Meeting

MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired the 6^th Executive Management Council (EMC) meeting on Thursday, 22 January 2015. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO’s from all respective departments as well as executive management level. Various agenda were being addressed and discoursed in the meeting.

The EMC has agreed and approved on the matters as follows:

• To form committee to look into the Financial Report year 2014 as follows:
  1. Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs (Chairman)
  2. Deputy CEO of Research and Development (Member)
  3. Dr. Barjoyai Bardai (Member)
  4. Chief Finance Officer (Member)
  5. Dean of Admission and Registration (Member)
• To approve on the participation in ‘Jom Masuk U’ Higher Education Event as follows:
  1. Pahang (14-15 Feb)
  2. Melaka (7-8 March)
  3. Kelantan (28-29 March)
• To participate in the Open Registration Day during the announcement of STAM Results on 28/1/2015 for the following schools:
  1. SMA Jaim Al-Asraf (Melaka)
  2. SAMT Tengku Ampuan Jemaah (Shah Alam)
  3. SAM Muhammadiyah (Sabak bernam)
  4. SAMT Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah (Sabak Bernam)
  5. Various Islamic Schools in Kedah
• To withdraw student [BBA143BI293] and [MAQ143BG432] based on their request.
• To approve on the exemption of tuition fees for staff [AX822] for Feb 2014.
• To approve on the exemption of tuition fees for staff [BI361] for Sept 2014.
• To approve applicant ‘Moataz Reda Mohamed’ as Admin Officer, Academic Department.
• To approve the MoU Signing with University Moulay Ismail, Morocco.
• To approve the Memorandum of Cooperation with Arakan Rohingya Union (ARU).
• To assign ‘Mr.Assad Mohamed Moindze’ as Deputy Dean, Admission and Registration.
• To assign ‘Mr.Fakhrul Islam’ as Head, Admission and Registration Department (Postgraduate Studies)
