MEDIU Students attended the 59th International Al-Quran Recital and Memorization Assembly 1438H

The students of Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) recently attend the 59^th International Al-Quran Recital and Memorization Assembly 1438H which was held at Dewan Merdeka, Putra World Trade Center, Kuala Lumpur from 15-20 May 2017. The opening ceremony was officiated by His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Muhammad with the theme ‘Ukhuwah Islamiah Basic Consolidation of Ummah’.

The aim of participating in this competition is to spread the culture of interest in the provisions and reading of the Al-Quran among the students. The event has attracted nearly 91 participants from 46 countries with 22 countries participating in the Quran Recitation category and 24 countries participating in the Memorization category.
