MEDIU’s 52nd Academic Senate Meeting

MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired the 52^nd Academic Senate Meeting for the year 2014 on Friday, 7 November 2014. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments and academic deans. Throughout the session, various agenda on academic areas were being addressed and discoursed amongst the senate members.

Among the discussions that have been agreed and approved by the senate members are as follows:

• To approve on extension of study period for the student [MAQ103AF938] – Master in Aqidah (Structure B)
• To approve on extension of study period for the student [MQD113AR916] – Master in Qada and Siyasah Shar’iyyah (Structure B)
• To approve on extension of study period for the student [MUF101AC365] – Master in Usul Al-Fiqh (Structure B)
• To approve on extension of study period for the student [MHD103AF878] – Master in Ulum Hadith (Structure B)
• To approve on extension of study period for the student [MFQ103AG880] – Master in Fiqh (Structure B)
• To approve on extension of study period for the student [MQD103AE546] – Master in Qada and Siyasah Shar’iyyah (Structure B)
• To award the student [MQD103AE546] majoring Master in Qada and Siyasah Shar’iyyah (Structure B) with CGPA: 3.53
• To award the student [MHD103AF878] majoring Master in Ulum Al-Hadith (Coursework + Thesis) with CGPA: 3.48
• To award the student [MIT113AS584] majoring Master of Science in Information and Communication Technology (Coursework + Thesis) with CGPA: 3.74
