MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired the 44th Executive Management Council (EMC) meeting on Friday, 18 November 2016. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO’s from all respective departments as well as executive management level. Various agenda were being addressed and discoursed in the meeting.
The EMC has agreed and approved on the matters as follows:
- To approve the MoU with Fajar Hidayah International Sdn.Bhd, Malaysia
- To approve the MoU with Kolej Universiti Islam Perlis, Malaysia
- To approve the MoU with Maa’had Darul Quran, Terengganu, Malaysia
- To approve the MoU with Eduxplora Trust, Mauritius
- To approve the MoU with Muslim Association, Stockholm, Sweden
- To approve the MoU with Arabic Open Academy, Denmark
- To approve the MoU with Qudawah Foundation for Training and Development, Saudi Arabia
- To approve the MoU with Patani University, Thailand
- To approve the MoU with University of Jordan, Jordan
- To approve the MoU with McGraw Hill Education
- To approve on the exemption of tuition fees for staff whom furthering their postgraduate studies as follows:

- To approve on the proposal of fees structure for new on-line program ‘Postgraduate Diploma in Education’ for Faculty of Education.
- To approve on the two (2) external assessors of final examinations for Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences.
- To approve on appointing part time lecturers in Sept 2016 (half semester) for Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences.
