40/2015 Academic Senate Meeting

MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired the 40^th Academic Senate Meeting for the year 2015 on Friday, 18 December 2015. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments and academic deans. Throughout the session, various agenda on academic areas were being addressed and discoursed amongst the senate members.

Among the discussions that have been agreed and approved by the senate members are as follows:

• To award the student [MUF141BE527] majoring Master in Usul Al-Fiqh (Coursework + Thesis) with CGPA: 3.87
• To award the student [MAR141AT086] majoring Master in Arabic Language (Coursework + Thesis) with CGPA: 3.54
• To award the student [MDW143BI110] majoring Master in Da’wah (By Research)
• To promote ‘ Prof. Dr Eman Mohammed Mabrouk Kotob’ to Assoc.Prof according to his google scholar publication.
• To promote ‘ Prof. Dr Abdullah Shaker Elgnedy’ to Assoc.Prof according to his google scholar publication.
• To promote ‘ Prof. Dr Khaled El-sayed Mohamed Ghanem’ to Assoc.Prof according to his google scholar publication.
• To approve on the the formation of Quality Control Committee the members of which as follows:
