4/2017 Academic Senate Meeting

MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired the 4^th Academic Senate Meeting on Thursday, 16 February 2017. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments and academic deans. Throughout the session, various agenda on academic areas were being addressed and discoursed amongst the senate members.

Among the discussions that have been agreed and approved by the senate members are as follows:

• To award the student [MTF143BI240] majoring Master in Tafsir and Ulum Al-Quran (Coursework + Thesis) with CGPA: 3.93
• To award the student [MQR141BF378] majoring Master in Qira’at (By Research)
• To award the student [PFQ131AZ885] majoring PhD in Fiqh (By Research)
• To award the student [MBA153BN089] majoring Master of Business Administration (MBA) with CGPA: 3.78
• To award the student [MBA153BN086] majoring Master of Business Administration (MBA) with CGPA: 3.91
• To approve on the recommendation to conduct 1^st International Educational Conference of Educational and Psychological Studies 2017 under the Faculty of Education.
• To approve on the recommendation to conduct 2^nd International Educational Conference of Islamic Sciences 2017.
• To promote ‘Asst. Prof. Dr. Omran Ahmed Ali Musleh’ to Assoc. Prof according to his google scholar publication.
• To promote ‘Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdoulrahman Ibrahim Salama’ to Assoc. Prof according to his google scholar publication.
• To promote ‘Asst. Prof. Dr. Usman Jakfar’ to Assoc. Prof according to his google scholar publication.
