37/2016 Academic Senate Meeting

MEDIU’s Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs Division; Assoc. Prof.Dr Wan Mat Wan Sulaiman chaired the 37^th Academic Senate Meeting on Friday, 11 November 2016. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments and academic deans. Throughout the session, various agenda on academic areas were being addressed and discoursed amongst the senate members.

Among the discussions that have been agreed and approved by the senate members are as follows:

• To award the student [MAI151BJ612] majoring Master of Education (Curriculum and Instruction) (By Research)
• To award the student [MQD131AZ469] majoring Master in Qada and Siyasah Shar’iyyah (Coursework + Project Paper / Case Study) with CGPA: 3.43
• To award the student [MIT141BE662] majoring Master of Science in Information and Communication Technology (Coursework + Project Paper / Case Study) with CGPA: 3.54
• To award the student [MTF143BG945] majoring Master in Tafsir and Ulum Al-Quran (Coursework + Thesis) with CGPA: 3.85
• To award the student [MQD143BG381] majoring Master in Qada and Siyasah Shar’iyyah (By Research)
• To award the student [PAQ141BF033] majoring PhD in Aqidah (By Research)
• To award the student [PDW141BG228] majoring PhD in Da’wah (By Research)
• To promote ‘Asst. Prof. Dr. Najeeb Abbas Al-Sammarraie’ to Assoc.Prof according to his google scholar publication.
• To approve on the amendment in Article (91)(c) of the Regulations of Postgraduate
