3/2017 Academic Senate Meeting

MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired the 3^rd Academic Senate Meeting on Friday, 31 January 2017. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments and academic deans. Throughout the session, various agenda on academic areas were being addressed and discoursed amongst the senate members.

Among the discussions that have been agreed and approved by the senate members are as follows:

• To award the student [PFQ123AW062] majoring PhD in Fiqh (By Research)
• To award the student [PQR141BE043] majoring PhD in Qira’aat (By Research)
• To award the student [PQR141BE043] majoring PhD in Education (By Research)
• To award the student [MFQ141BG121] majoring Master in Fiqh (Coursework + Thesis) with CGPA: 3.79
• To award the student [MUF131AV855] majoring Master in Usul Al-Fiqh (Coursework + Thesis) with CGPA: 3.68
• To award the student [MAI151BK103] majoring Master of Education (Curriculum and Instruction) (By Research)
• To reactivate the student [MIT133BC875] as the CGPA was not low for two consecutive semesters.
• To reactivate the student [MHD151BG721] as the CGPA was not low for two consecutive semesters.
• To reactivate the student [MIT133BC875] as the CGPA was not low for two consecutive semesters.
• To open intake in the month of May 2017 for local students due to the amendment of the PTPTN submission date.
