2nd Seminar Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences

MEDIU’s Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences (FFAS) held their monthly seminar session on Wednesday, 2 July 2014. The 2^nd seminar session entitled ‘Social Islamic Bank or Waqaf Bank : The Route To A More Fulfilling Islamic Banking System’ was organized by the Faculty members under the chairmanship of MEDIU’s CEO, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi. The seminar was organized by the Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences led by President of the Organizing Committee, Mr.Abdulkadir Mohamed Osman  and Member of the Organizing Committee, Mr.Mohamed Abdul Rahman Saeed Al-Samet with the collaboration of other Divisions, Deanships and Departments of the university.

The aim of the seminar is to highlight the best ways to accomplish the needs of the Islamic banking and the types of Islamic banks. The session was presented by Prof.Dr.Barjoyai Bardai, a lecturer in the Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences.

At the end of the session, the participants exchanges views, opinions and open discussion with the presenter. Deputy Dean of FFAS and President of the Organizing Committee, Mr.Abdulkadir Mohamed Osman expressed his gratitude for all the contribution in the completion of this scientific symposium and thanked the University’s management that are diligent in establishing such scientific session for the benefit of the academic faculty members and students.
