MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired the 29th Academic Senate Meeting for the year 2014 on Monday, 16 June 2014. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments and academic deans. Throughout the session, various agenda on academic areas were being addressed and discoursed amongst the senate members.

Among the discussions that have been agreed and approved by the senate members are as follows:

  • To approve the final results of 22 on-campus students in the Bachelor program for the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology (Feb 2014).
  • To approve the final results of 6 on-line students in the Bachelor program for the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology (Feb 2014).
  • To award student [MIT121AU352] majoring Master of Science in Information and Communication Technology (Structure C) with CGPA:3.92.
  • To approve the final results of 5 on-line students in the Bachelor program for the Faculty of Languages (Feb 2014).
  • To approve the final results of 2 on-campus students in the Bachelor program for the Faculty of Languages (Feb 2014).
  • To approve the final results of 2 on-line students in the Master program for the Faculty of Languages-Structure C (Feb 2014).
  • To approve the final results of 14 on-campus students in the Bachelor program for the Faculty of Islamic Sciences (Feb 2014).
  • To approve the final results of 84 on-line students in the Bachelor program for the Faculty of Islamic Sciences (Feb 2014).
  • To approve the final results of 22 on-line students in the Master program for the Faculty of Islamic Sciences-Structure C (Feb 2014).
  • To approve the final results of 22 on-campus students in the Bachelor program for the Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences (Feb 2014).
  • To approve the final results of 6 on-line students in the Bachelor program for the Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences (Feb 2014).
  • To award student [MTF101AE123] majoring Master in Tafsir and ‘Ulum Al-Quran (Structure B) with CGPA: 3.42.
