29/2015 Academic Senate Meeting

MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired the 29^th Academic Senate Meeting for the year 2015 on Tuesday, 1 September 2015. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments and academic deans. Throughout the session, various agenda on academic areas were being addressed and discoursed amongst the senate members.

Among the discussions that have been agreed and approved by the senate members are as follows:

• To award the student [MDW141BF064] majoring Master in Da’wah (By Research).
• To award the student [PFS131AZ690] majoring PhD in Fiqh Al-Sunnah (By Research).
• To award the student [MTF141BF488] majoring Master in Tafsir and ‘Ulum Al-Quran (Coursework + Thesis) with CGPA: 3.89
• To award the student [MTF123AW414] majoring Master in Tafsir and ‘Ulum Al-Quran (Coursework + Project Paper/Case Study) with CGPA: 3.76
• To award the student [MFQ133BA616] majoring Master in Fiqh (Coursework + Project Paper/Case Study) with CGPA: 3.63
• To award the student [MTF123AW444] majoring Master in Tafsir and ‘Ulum Al-Quran (Coursework + Project Paper/Case Study) with CGPA: 3.70
• To approve the final examination results for Sept 2014 for Faculty of Engineering (Bachelor) in the following semester:
  • Sept 2013-2014
  • Feb 2014-2015
• To approve the final exam results of June 2015 for Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences (Bachelor).
• To approve the final exam results of June 2015 for Faculty of Computer and Information Technology (Bachelor).
• To approve the final exam results of April & June 2015 for Faculty of Islamic Sciences (Bachelor).
• To approve the final exam results of June 2015 for Faculty of Languages (Foundation).
• To approve on the amendment content of the official certificates in dual language (English & Arabic)
• To suspend the student [MFQ131BA229] majoring Master in Fiqh (Coursework + Project Paper/Case Study) due to breach of academic integrity.
