28/2015 Academic Senate Meeting

MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired the 28^th Academic Senate Meeting for the year 2015 on Monday, 24 August 2015. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments and academic deans. Throughout the session, various agenda on academic areas were being addressed and discoursed amongst the senate members.

Among the discussions that have been agreed and approved by the senate members are as follows:

• To award the student [MHD133BD070] majoring Master in Ulum Hadith (Coursework + Project Paper/Case Study) with CGPA: 3.60
• To award the student [MFQ133BA651] majoring Master in Fiqh (Coursework + Thesis) with CGPA: 3.93
• To assign ‘Assoc.Prof.Dr.Khaled Hamdy’ as Member of Journal Editors.
• To approve on the formation of Scopus Publication as follows:

  • Prof. Dr. Yousef El-Ebiary (Vice Chairman)
  • Prof. Dr. El Sayyed Muhammad Salim( Member)
  • Prof. Dr. Shadi M.S. Hilles (Member)

  • Ashraf Z.R Tantish (Member)
  • Doucoure Abdou Samadou (Member)
  • Karam Qubsi (Member)
• To approve on the long term plan of publication in SCOPUS Index Journals.
