MEDIU’s 26th Academic Senate Meeting

MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired the 26^th Academic Senate Meeting for the year 2014 on Thursday, 29 May 2014. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments and academic deans. Throughout the session, various agenda on academic areas were being addressed and discoursed among the senate members.

Among the discussions that have been agreed and approved by the senate members are as follows:

• To amend the course plan for Foundation in Arabic Language and Islamic Sciences whereby the following MPW subjects is to be deleted from the plan based on the KPM letter [JPT/GS1000-606JLD.1 (25)]

• To delete all MPW subjects from the course plan of all Diploma and Bachelor programs starting from September 2013 for on campus student only, based on the KPM letter [JPT/GS1000-606JLD.1 (25)]
• To add the following subjects to all Diploma and Bachelor programs starting from September 2013 for on campus student only, based on the KPM letter [JPT/GS1000-606JLD.1 (25)]
