24/2015 Academic Senate Meeting

MEDIU’s Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs; Assoc. Prof Dr. Wan Mat Sulaiman chaired the 24^th Academic Senate Meeting for the year 2015 on Tuesday, 30 June 2015. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments and academic deans. Throughout the session, various agenda on academic areas were being addressed and discoursed amongst the senate members.

Among the discussions that have been agreed and approved by the senate members are as follows:

• To approve on (18) graduating students of Feb 2015 Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences on the following on campus & online intake:
  • Feb 2011-2012
  • Sept 2010-2012
• To approve on (14) graduating students of Feb 2015 Faculty of Computer & Information Technology on the following on campus & online intake:
  • Feb 2011
  • Sept 2010-2011
• To approve on (17) graduating bachelor students of Feb 2015 Faculty of Languages on the following on campus & online intake:
  • Feb 2011-2013
  • Sept 2010-2013
• To approve on (69) graduating bachelor students of Feb 2015 Faculty of Islamic Sciences on the following on campus & online intake:
  • Feb 2011-2013
  • Sept 2010-2013
• To approve to terminate students from Faculty of Islamic Sciences who fail to sit in all final examination papers without acceptable excuse based on Article 20 of Executive Rules of Study and Examination.
• To approve to terminate students from Faculty of Languages with CGPA <1.67 based on Article 32 of Executive Rules of Study and Examination.
• To approve to terminate students from Faculty of Languages who fail to sit in all final examination papers without acceptable excuse based on Article 20 of Executive Rules of Study and Examination.
• To approve to terminate students from Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences with CGPA <1.67 based on Article 32 of Executive Rules of Study and Examination.
