1st IEEE International Conference on Smart Computing and Electronic Enterprise (ICSCEE2018)

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) recently organized the 1^st IEEE International Conference on Smart Computing and Electronic Enterprise (ICSCEE) with the theme “Computing and Electronic Institutions: Applications, Developments and Prospects” on 11-12 July 2018 at Impiana KLCC Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Honorable CEO, Prof. Emeritus Dr. Ismawi Zen gave an opening speech in welcoming the participants of the conference which was organized by the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology led by the Chairman Conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wael Mohamed Shaher Yafooz in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ab Rahim Ismail, Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs and Deputy CEO of Research and Innovation, Prof. Dr. Hj. Wan Sulaiman Bin Wan Yusoff.

Among the keynote speakers were Prof. Dr. Dawei Song (The Open University, UK), Dr. Dzahar Mansor (Microsoft Malaysia), Prof. Dr. Ghazali bin Sulong (Universiti Malaysia Terengganu), Prof. Dr. Tarek El-Ghazawi (The George Washington University, USA), Prof. Dato’ Dr. Halimah Badioze Zaman (Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia) and Prof. Emer. Dato’ Dr. Tengku Mohamad bin Tengku Sembok (Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia).

ICSCEE2018 presented 18 scientific session which covers the area namely smart computing, large data, information retrieval, communications and data network, artificial intelligence, information systems, and electronic institutions. The conference is a multi-disciplinary area where advanced computational methods and technologies to create systems, applications and new services that meet the needs of society. With electronic enterprise, road maps to a well-planned evolution of enterprise complexity with business and system strategies are integration through standardized and synchronized architectures with IT components.
