16/2017 Academic Senate Meeting

MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired the 16^th Academic Senate Meeting on Tuesday, 11 April 2017. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments and academic deans. Throughout the session, various agenda on academic areas were being addressed and discoursed amongst the senate members.

Among the discussions that have been agreed and approved by the senate members are as follows:

• To award the student [MQD143BH212] majoring Master in Qada and Siyasah Shar’iyyah (Coursework + Thesis) with CGPA: 3.91
• To award the student [MTF113AR075] majoring Master in Tafsir and Ulum Al’Quran (Coursework + Thesis) with CGPA: 3.96
• To award the student [PFS133BC972] majoring PhD in Fiqh Al Sunnah (By Research)
• To award the student [MAQ131BA242] majoring Master in Aqidah (Coursework + Project Paper/Case Study) with CGPA: 3.96
• To award the student [MQD103AF863] majoring Master in Qada and Siyasah Shar’iyyah (Coursework + Project Paper/Case Study) with CGPA: 3.26
• To award the student [MQD103AG313] majoring Master in Qada and Siyasah Shar’iyyah (Coursework + Project Paper/Case Study) with CGPA: 3.39
• To promote ‘Asst. Prof. Dr. Asst. Prof. Dr. Fouad Bounama’ to Assoc. Prof according to his google scholar publication.
• To promote ‘Asst. Prof. Dr. Amir Zaki Najim’ to Assoc. Prof according to his google scholar publication.
