15/2015 Academic Senate Meeting

MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired the 15^th Academic Senate Meeting for the year 2015 on Friday, 24 April 2015. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments and academic deans. Throughout the session, various agenda on academic areas were being addressed and discoursed amongst the senate members.

Among the discussions that have been agreed and approved by the senate members are as follows:

• To approve on the amendment of Article 10 of the Regulations of Study and Examinations.
• To award the student [MAL113AQ628] majoring Master in Arabic Literature and Literary Criticism (Coursework + Thesis) with CGPA: 3.71
• To award the student [MFQ111AJ466] majoring Master in Fiqh’ (Coursework + Thesis) with CGPA: 3.66
• To award the student [MTF133BA881] majoring Master in Tafsir and ‘Ulum Al-Quran (Coursework + Thesis) with CGPA: 3.67
• To award the student [MQD111AN109] majoring Master Qada and Siyasah Shar’iyyah (Coursework + Thesis) with CGPA: 3.91
• To re-enroll student [BFQ08302224] majoring Bachelor of Islamic Sciences (Hons) in Fiqh & Usul Fiqh after his appeal request due to valid reasons.
