14/2015 Academic Senate Meeting

MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired the 14^th Academic Senate Meeting for the year 2015 on Friday, 17 April 2015. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments and academic deans. Throughout the session, various agenda on academic areas were being addressed and discoursed amongst the senate members.

Among the discussions that have been agreed and approved by the senate members are as follows:

• To award the student [MQD113AR736] majoring Master in Qada and Siyasah Syar’iyyah (Coursework + Project Paper/Case Study) with CGPA:3.77.
• To award the student [MIT133BA093] majoring Master of Science in Information and Communication Technology (Coursework + Project Paper/Case Study) with CGPA: 3.55.
• To award the student [PTF123AY624] majoring PhD in Tafsir and ‘Ulum Al-Quran (By Research).
• To approve on the Measurement and Evaluation Guide for 2015 with the committee as follows:
  • Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs Division – Assoc.Prof.Dr.Wan Mat Sulaiman
  • Dean, Faculty of Education – Assoc.Prof.Dr.Ayman Aied
  • Head, Academic Administration – Mr.Jafar Batiha
  • Head, Exam and Records – Mr.Syazwan Khalis
