University Student Time Management Training


MEDIU’s Faculty of Engineering recently initiated the “Soft Skills Talk Series“ program which consists of series of lectures aiming at enhancing the students’ skills. The first talk series were on “University Student Time Management” which was held on Tuesday, 24 November 2015. Prof. Ir. Dr. Wan Mahmood Wan Ab. Majid, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, delivered the opening speech in which he believes that such programs can achieve the faculty in stimulating productivity and increasing the skills of students as well as continuous learning actively involves students in extracurricular activities.


“University Student Time Management” lecture series was presented by Assoc.Prof. Cader Mohamed Aboobucker, Head of Civil Engineering Department with the presence of Deputy Dean, Engr. Mohamed Abdul Rahman Saeed Al-Samet and  Engr. Muzaphar Noman Abdulrahman Noman, Head of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Among the topics that were being discussed are on techniques on time management planning between study duties and extracurricular activities, as well as how time management able to assist students to achieve their goals at the university while developing their skills. The speaker also proposed time planning scheduling techniques for students to apply it in their daily basis. The series of lectures will be continue for the coming week will be conducted by the faculty members is open to all students.
